For parents and carers

You stay important. Full stop.

Handing your child’s care to someone else is one of the hardest things a family can do. This page is about how you stay close.

Contact and visits

You will be kept close, listened to, and told the truth, including on the days when the truth is hard.

What to expect

A calm, warm house with art on the table and food in the oven. Adults who take the time to learn who your child is, not just what’s in their file. Regular, honest updates in plain language, and a phone that gets answered.

Visits are part of the plan, and the gate works both ways.

If something worries you

Raise it early and raise it straight. You can talk to anyone who works here, contact the Registered Manager directly, or go outside the organisation entirely. Complaints and safeguarding lists every route, including Ofsted and independent advocacy. You will never be treated as difficult for asking.
