Accessibility statement

Built to be used by everyone.

This statement covers the whole RITE DIRECTIONS website. It was last reviewed on 25 August 2026.

Our commitment

We aim for this site to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. That means text you can read, contrast you can see, a keyboard path through every page, visible focus, honest alt text, and motion that switches itself off if your device asks it to.

What we have done

Semantic page structure with one h1 per page, labelled form fields, keyboard friendly menus with visible focus, reduced motion honoured throughout, and contrast checked on the dark and cream surfaces. The young people’s page uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed to be easier to read.

Known issues

None that we know of. That is a claim we want tested: if you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, tell us and we will fix it.
