Education

Back into learning, at their pace.

Patient, individual support to get every child back into learning, and to keep them there.

School links

The home sits close to local schools, shops and parks, and getting a child to school every day is treated as part of care, not separate from it.

Personal Education Plans

Every looked after child has a Personal Education Plan, and we treat it as a working document, not a filing exercise. We turn up to every PEP meeting, we contribute honestly, and we push the plan forward between meetings.

EHCP experience

Education, health and care plans are part of life for many of the children who come to us.

When school is not possible yet

Some children arrive unable to face a classroom. Learning does not stop while that heals. It moves to the kitchen table, the garden and the stables, at the child’s pace, until a classroom is possible again.
